Today, after an intense workout I witnessed a wonderful sight. Jersey City’s Farmers’ Market! I’ve been waiting since November for it’s return. And I picked up fixings for dinner: Purple spring onions, tomatoes, fresh peas, a baguette, buffalo mozzarella, and strawberries. I grilled slices of the baguette, chopped up a tomato and a purple spring onion, parboiled a few peas, and mixed everything together with the mozzarella. And made this:
The perfect dinner light dinner. But I needed the perfect light dessert to go with it. So I followed my friend Julie’s lead and roasted strawberries, and I added a crust of bread crumbs and cinnamon sugar:
